The advantage of having a wired 1142 system is the ability of location based alerts. When an alert is triggered using a PPB (Portable Panic Button), this will be clearly displayed on the 1142 Master Panel with the level of alert (Assistance/ Panic) and the location of the closest Radio/IR Receiver.
Location based alerts can reduce response times on large sites
Location based systems will require 1123 Radio/ IR Receivers, along with 1122/ 1115-T PPB (Portable Panic Button).
The wireless varient boasts significantly simpler installation.
If you wish to minimise distruptions to your workflow during installation a five button system with a wireless 1142 Master panel can be installed in just two hours.
If you do not require location based alerts, then a Wireless Master Panel is recommended.
With its radio range of up to 80m indoors and 200m outdoors and the option to add radio repeaters to increase its range, the Master Panel provides a reliable call-aid solution for any business or facility.
